In order to assess their readiness in managing major disruptions or failures at the primary site, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) has scheduled a special live trading session on May 18, 2024. During this session, there will be an intra-day switchover from the Primary Site (PR) to the Disaster Recovery (DR) site. The equity and equity derivative segments will be the primary focus of this session.

A DR site is important for all basic organizations like trades so tasks should be possible consistently and easily on the off chance that any unessential occasion influences the working of the principal exchanging focus Mumbai.

The meeting will be directed in two stages. The primary stage will be a 45-minute meeting beginning at 9:15 am. The subsequent unique live exchanging meeting will initiate at 11:45 am and close at 12:40 pm.

All securities, including those with derivative products, will be subject to a 5 percent maximum price band during the special session. Securities already priced at 2 percent or lower will retain their current bands. This strategy is implemented to mitigate extreme fluctuations and ensure market stability throughout the session.

*Session 1: Live trading from Primary Site

Normal Market open time -- 09:15 hrs
Normal Market close time -- 10:00 hrs
