Bulk buying of shares of 'or' companies by investors; Vijay Kediyan bought 4 lakhs more shares.

It seems like there has been a recent trend of bulk buying shares of 'or' companies by investors. I also heard that Vijay Kediyan has bought an additional 4 lakhs shares. It will be interesting to see how the market responds to this activity.

Global Vectra Helicorp Limited share:

It seems that on Friday, investors were heavily buying shares of Global Vectra Helicorp Limited due to selling pressure in the stock market. The share closed at Rs 158.70 on the last trading day of the week, and it even rose by 5 per cent in mid-day, hitting the upper circuit. Interestingly, veteran investor Vijay Kedia himself has invested in the shares of the company.

How many shares does Vijay Kedia hold?

It seems that Vijay Kedia and his company Kedia Securities collectively hold a 1.46 percent stake in Global Vectra Helicopters Limited. In terms of shares, Vijay Kedia holds 2,04,400 shares in the company for the January to March 2024 quarter, while Kedia Securities holds 2,04,900 shares. It's worth noting that the shareholding pattern of the airline company could have impacted both parties from October to December 2023. As a result, it appears that Vijay Kedia may purchase a stake in the airline company during the March 2024 quarter.

Share market performance:

multi bagger shares have been performing quite well lately. The share prices have risen by over 40 percent in the last one month or have gained more than 20 percent so far this year. Additionally, the share price has experienced a significant increase from around Rs 54 to Rs 158.75 per share in the last one year, which represents an impressive increase of almost 200 percent in that period.

Market fall:

It's unfortunate that the investors had to suffer a loss of Rs 2.52 lakh crore due to the fall of 793.25 points in BSE Sensex on Friday. The Sensex based on 30 shares closed at 74,244.90 with a decline of 793.25 points or 1.06 percent. However, it's interesting to note that the market capitalization of BSE listed companies increased by Rs 2,52,301.16 crore to Rs 3,99,67,051.91 crore ($4.79 lakh crore).
